Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NightLight (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NightLight is a 3D lamp shade model generator. You upload images and configure geometric parameters to generate an STL model ready for 3D printing or further editing.

3. Payment and Pricing

The Service operates on a pay-per-model basis. Each model generation costs $1.00 USD. All payments are securely processed by Creem, a third-party payment provider. By initiating a payment, you authorize the charge. Due to the computational cost of 3D model generation, all sales are final and non-refundable once the generation process has begun.

4. Model Delivery and Retention

Once your payment is confirmed, you will be provided with download links for your STL model files. The download links remain available for 60 minutes after payment confirmation. After this window, the model files are automatically removed from our generation server. It is your responsibility to download and securely store your model files within this timeframe. Unpaid model previews are automatically purged within 10 minutes of generation.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all images you upload. You grant NightLight a limited, non-exclusive license to transmit your images to our third-party generation service solely for the purpose of producing your 3D model. Your images are not stored on our servers and are deleted from the generation pipeline after the task completes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload any illegal, harmful, or infringing content as input images.
• Attempt to circumvent payment or abuse the generation service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service infrastructure.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that generated STL models will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose (e.g., manufacturing).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NightLight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to issues with generated 3D models, manufacturing failures, or data loss.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
