Create your custom night light in three easy steps

STEP 01

Upload Three Core Patterns

🖼️ Shadow Shape (file_input)

The shadow pattern is the silhouette that projects onto the wall when the light is turned on. It determines the shape of the lamp shade's hollow sections and is the core visual element of your night light.

⚠️ The center area (where the light source sits) must be completely black — no white hollow areas — otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the topology generation.

📐 Lamp Shade Profile (file_ring)

The lamp shade profile defines the cross‑sectional shape of the entire night light when viewed from above. It determines the outer contour of the lamp shade shell.

⚠️ The black outline must be completely closed with no white gaps inside. Ensure the contour edges are sealed and the interior is filled with solid color.

✨ Relief Pattern (file_decor)

The relief pattern is used to create an embossed effect on the top cover of the lamp shade. Upload your favorite texture or logo as a decorative pattern to give the top surface of your night light a personalized touch.

Understanding Geometric Parameters

📌 Shadow Size (Shadow Circumscribed Circle Diameter)

Controls the scaling ratio of the projection pattern inside the lamp shade. A larger value produces a larger projected shadow, but make sure it doesn't exceed the outer diameter of the lamp shade.

Shadow Size Parameter

📌 Lamp Shade Height

Controls the vertical stretch of the entire lamp shade. A taller lamp shade can accommodate a longer LED bulb, but also requires a larger 3D printing volume.

Lamp Shade Height Parameter

📌 Lamp Shade Size (Lamp Shade Circumscribed Circle Diameter)

The diameter of the lamp shade cross‑section. We recommend setting this based on your 3D printer's maximum print size (typical consumer printers: 150–200mm).

Lamp Shade Size Parameter

📌 Wall Thickness

The thickness of the lamp shade shell. Too thin may result in fragile, brittle structures (recommended ≥ 2mm). Too thick will block light, reducing the projection effect and increasing print time.

Generate Model & Export Files

🚀 Important During Generation

⚠️ Do not close or refresh the page while the model is being generated. The backend is performing high‑precision industrial‑grade 3D topology calculations — please keep the page running.

📌 Export .STL Files

Once the model generation is successful, you will receive three independent .stl standard‑format files: the lamp shade body model, the lamp shade cover model, and the LED bulb model. Click the respective buttons to download each model.
